Abstract.
This video captures one hour in a workplace hallway over lunch, edited to show only the times people are present. It is used to inspire the develoment of technologies supporting casual interactions between remote workers. Look for:

• how people glance into doorways
• how they notice who is around
• serendipitous casual interactions
• one-person initiated interactions
